The NFL’s Chief of Security, Cathy Lanier, mentioned the extensive efforts made in response to the attack, explaining, “We have reassessed and stress-tested our timing, our communication protocols, our contingency measures and our emergency response plans multiple times over, over the past several weeks.”
With over 2,700 law enforcement officers from local, state, and federal agencies deployed, the event is classified as a SEAR 1 security event — the highest level of security designation. Officials are ensuring every possible measure is taken to safeguard attendees.
